America Divorces from God
While divorce in America has sky-rocketed in a few short decades, many people are unaware that America as a whole has divorced from God. It is simply impossible to divorce your spouse, while remaining in union with God. Yet, most people seem to think we can divorce our spouse and not let it affect anything else in our life. As a whole, America has decided to flee from God. She has decided to seek selfish, earthly pleasures and idols. America is a figurement of the Whore of Babylon.
For behold, the days shall come, wherein they will say: Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that have not borne, and the paps that have not given suck. – Luke 23:29. This is in reference to abortion and contraception. No other time in Christian history has abortion and contraception been so readily accepted by a generation.
As a post-abortive mother suffers from post-abortive operation and the consequences thereof, so shall she, as a nation, suffer a similar fate. It is not too late to turn back to God as a country. Let us rely on God’s mercy and ask for His forgiveness and to repent. Only He can shield us from the onslaught of evil bespelling America.
