Outcry against “serial dishonesty” spreads
Conservative political observers nation-wide are complaining about the gross distortions in the President’s healthcare speech. Please see below for an urgent update. – Mat
The President’s speech was a "litany of lies" said the Media Research Center. They also used the phrase "serial dishonesty"to describe the entire ObamaCare campaign.
Gary Bauer of American Values put it this way: "He described a fantasy land where everyone gets more benefits, nobody loses anything and the deficit magically doesn’t increase."
And our own Director of Cultural Affairs, Matt Barber, said this in an editorial published by Renew America:
"The abortion mandate alone is a deal breaker for the majority of Americans. Obama knows that. So he had to lie. It’s just too bad for him that the American people aren’t nearly as stupid as he gives them credit for."
Today the Internet is alive with shocking analyses of the many and varied misrepresentations contained in the President’s 48minutes of scolding and belittling his critics.
So I’m VERY pleased to report that congressional in-boxes are full of fax messages created by Liberty Counsel Team member surging our representatives to soundly reject ObamaCare!
In fact, with the help of thousands of friends like you, we have
been able to keep the volume up throughout this crucial week.
And my sources tell me that members of the Liberty Counsel Team have been bombarding their senators and representatives with phone calls at a record level on this crucial issue…all in addition to the powerful "Fax Barrage" that started the day Congress returned from their August recess.

Our efforts are making a real difference in this debate! They have from the beginning. I can’t adequately express how proud I am of the pivotal role Liberty Counsel has played in this historic struggle.
I wish I could tell you the battle is over, but I’m sure you know we have yet to see a white flag over the White House.In fact, I have learned that the Obama political team has pulled out all the stops to rally their supporters to call Congress.
They have even gone so far as to use 9/11/09 (Patriots’ Day!)as an occasion to urge their millions of on-line followers to ask Congress to stop "right-wing domestic terrorists" (like you and me?) from "subverting the American democratic process."
So I must urge you to stay the course and join me in redoubling our efforts to keep the heat on Congress to reject ObamaCare. You’ve already done so much that it is difficult for me to ask for more…but I simply have no other choice.
That’s why I’m once again asking you to stand with me right now,even if you’ve already done so in recent days and weeks, in two important ways…
First, I urge you to join me in continuing to send a message to D.C. leaders by scheduling faxes to Congress, even if you’ve done so before — perhaps several times before.

We simply MUST successfully counter President Obama and his allies in their efforts to cloak the attempted government takeover of healthcare in a patriotic (and even religious!) mandate.
Secondly…
Please keep on calling your two Senators and your Representative to tell them you OPPOSE the government-run plan. Tell them to abandon the 1,000-plus page monstrosity of a bill and start over with a free market approach that respects the unborn and preserves our liberties!
Now more than ever, the upcoming days are absolutely crucial! What the President is now attempting is a desperate effort to move public opinion… and it’s beginning to look like its going to backfire on him. So now is definitely NOT the time to let up!
It is as though we are all leaping to our feet to say "the Emperor’s healthcare plan has no clothes!" As I said yesterday, if there was EVER a time to make your voice heard, this is it!
