My Conversion Story

This topic requires plenty of recollection and prayer to cover thoroughly. God willing, I’ll be able to post a more detailed conversion story of my life.

For starters, I am a cradle Catholic. I have never waivered from my faith, in that I never abandoned the Church founded by Christ. However, during my teens and early adulthood, I was very much involved in the lies of the secular world. A World of parties, sex, drugs, dancing, clubs, fighting, drinking, porn, lap dances, strip clubs, videos, magazines, internet chatting for “hooking up”, internet porn and girls – just to name a few.

God in his mercy, always kept me near him. Many times I found it hard to be faithful to Him. It took me many years to finally discover that the apple the World was trying to feed me, consisted of nothing but poison. It poisoned my mind, poisoned my heart, poisoned my body and most of all poisoned my soul. To this day, I am still trying to recover from the poisoned apple. It literally poisoned my capacity to love. I truly believe that with the help of the Virgin Mary, my consecration to Mary, Rosary meditations, prayers to the saints, prayers of the saints (both living and those living with God) and my guardian angel – I’ll be able to discover, share and witness more the true love of God. I have much more to say about this topic. The most important thing I want to share with you is that you don’t have to eat the poisoned apple of the media, news, entertainment and hollywood. Many people like me who have followed that path, found nothing but broken hearts, broken dreams, broken homes and broken families.
